Devil’s Churn

A perfect stop for stretching legs while driving the 101, or a fun destination for some cliffside, beachy rambling with the littles! Well, that was my take on it, the boys whined pretty much the entire time. You win some, you lose some. Such is hiking with children!

We didn’t get to see the actual ‘Churn’ during high tide, which might have been more impressive for the kiddos. But I still enjoyed the classic, rugged scene of the central Oregon coast, and the beautiful scraggly coastal pine forest. You can’t beat sea-meets-forest for air freshness!

There are lots of further little rambles and trails for us to explore here next year, when everyone is feeling a little more cooperative, but I didn’t want to torture them.

We’ll be back!!
